The purpose of this course is to introduce students to oral communication skills in social and professional contexts. The emphasis is on learning strategies and techniques of oral communication skills in the following categories: workplace communication, and relations, and career development. Students will practice in-workplace communication such as presentations and public speaking. Workplace relationship activities will focus on building effective relationships and resolving conflicts. Career development skills will aim at acquiring effective job interview skills.
